I’ll start by saying amen to free to play gaming. What a wonderful thing to be able to download a full video game for free and continue to play it at no expense. Even if you do choose to put money on it maybe do to micro transactions or a possible expansion, your still saving a great deal in return because games are certainly not getting cheaper in price these days. So as you may already know, SkyForge is a free to play MMORPG by the developers at Allods Team and Obsidian Entertainment, and published by My.com. The game is slated for a Spring 2017 release on PlayStation 4 but is available now in open beta on Microsoft Windows. Players can select from different classes and can swap on the fly (as long as your not in combat) to whichever suits the situation the best. Some classes include the Cryomancer, Gunner, Lightbinder, Slayer and Berserker. There is currently 13 classes in total which are separated into the 3 categories Attack, Defense and Support. Players fight to prestige each character to their God form all in an effort to protect the planet Aelion, which is named after the former God Aeli who once protected it. The game offers PvP and PvE. Besides the regular quest, the game also features Large-Scale events, Raids, Invasions and Pantheon Wars just to name a few. Each game mode offering its own rules and play style. Again an open beta is ready and available on Microsoft Windows and the game will make way to the Sony PlayStation 4 platform Spring 2017.
