Arkane Studios’ Prey Gets May 5 Release Date

Arkane studios’ long awaited Prey re-imagining is set to hit store (and digital) shelves on May 5th, 2017. The game is set aboard the Talos I space station, far away from the safety of Earth. The crew have fallen prey to the Typhon aliens that have seemingly broken free from containment and it’s up to our protagonist, Morgan Yu, to control the Typhon threat whilst figuring out what exactly caused it.

The game follows Arkane’s long-standing tradition of player freedom, allowing near unlimited access to the way weapons and abilities are used. Akin to System Shock and Bioshock before it, Morgan gains abilities through Neuromods, except he has to inject these abilities into his brain… through his eye. On the bright side, these abilities drastically change the way that the game is played – and will likely make for the most creative of playstyles.
