Ashen, being developed by indie company Aurora44 was initially revealed at the 2015 e3 conference but shined a faint new light this year. An open world passive multiplayer survival experience with cell shaded graphics, eerily faceless avatars, and high-risk combat style similar to that of the Dark Souls series make this game look both interesting and challenging.
An epic trailer gives us only an inkling of what this tale has in store, but nonetheless, it’s turned a few heads. Details are scarce and a release date is absent, it’s sure to see more light than the dim lanterns guiding you through its perilous dungeons be on the lookout for this Xbox exclusive.
