People like role playing, sure Rpgs themselves are great, but there’s something else about doing it in a multiplayer environment that has a certain type of charm to it.
If your used to Playstation home, or the ARMA role playing mod, then Identity will feel familiar to you.
It is a game with alot of ambition, essentially not being like your typical mmo rpg, it focuses on modern life rather than fantasy, scifi or anime.
It has a lot of familiar aspects that you would find in the Arma 3 mod.
There’s a lot of variety of jobs from cop to mayor down to the lowest form like criminal.
But when you hear the video explaining the game, it starts to get a little hard to believe, the ideas and concepts this game has planned is of a scope that feels wouldnt be done in atleast 5 years from now, were not used to hearing about player made shops with player made items completly designed by them, and art galleries with art pieces made by players, same with books and songs with instruments you can play note by note however you want.

The devs have been releasing updates ever so often so it really feels like this game might happen.
Ive always been interested in games that have such a huge player run system, but when you think about it, the games success would entirely depend on its players, you could either have a game that has a lived in world with tons of activity, or it will be a breeding ground for trolls, i guess we will have to wait and see how it turns out.
