Ubisoft Details Upcoming Watch Dogs 2 Content

Ubisoft has detailed its upcoming free content and DLC for Watch Dogs 2. The first thing to note is that part of the ‘No Operations’ DLC, that is scheduled for release on April 18 (PS4) and May 18 (Xbox, PC), specifically the Showdown multiplayer mode, will now be made available as a free content update instead.

This change was made to ensure that all players are able to participate and that enough players are on board for a better challenge. To compensate, the ‘No Compromise’ DLC pack will add new clothing sets with unique abilities.

Watch Dogs 2 live producer, Kris young, had this to say on the matter:

“There are two main drivers behind making Showd0wn free for all of our players. The first is that we want everyone to be able to participate and play it. We really wanted to have as many people as possible playing the mode for a better challenge, better matchmaking time and quality, and a healthier, more active community. The other is community feedback we’ve received since we announced the original plans.”
