X1X: Scorpio is Just a Piece To The Puzzle

So after last year’s Microsoft Conference, gamers were under the influence that a new Xbox was on the way labeled Project Scorpio. Gamers would then dub it Xbox Scorpio as time went on and Xbox would even go as far as to say “it will be the most powerful console EVER!”

Xbox One X World Premiere 4K Trailer:

During E3 2017, Xbox would finally unveil at their conference what was once called Scorpio was actually one chip found under the hood of their next console. This console would be finally revealed as the Xbox One X or as I have begun to call it the X1X. This powerhouse console is said to be up to 40% stronger than any console on the market today and support the highly tossed around “true 4K” label. The specs announced at their conference for the X1X sounded more than phenomenal and it being a smaller console rather than a mammoth like the PS3’s first model was definitely a plus! Though its price was pretty close to the PS3’s debut price, sitting the X1X at $499 (US Dollars). You can find the specs and a quick run through of the Microsoft E3 2017 Conference below.

With the X1X set to launch November 7th, 2017, will you buy power? Go ahead and leave your answers and explanations in the comments below. In my personal opinion, as a first time buyer I do believe this is a great pickup for the price especially with what it has to offer. I’m unsure if it would be a good decision to trade/sell your old Xbox One just to upgrade unless power and 4K gaming is your thing, because all the games that are out and coming will still run on all Xbox One consoles. I don’t have an Xbox One, but I will be buying the X1X do to both the games on the way, but also for what’s under the hood (because why not especially since it’ll be my first Xbox One, so might as well go all the way right?!).

Remember Xbox One X (X1X) hits the market worldwide November 7th, 2017. For more on the X1X or just anything gaming, be sure to keep it locked right here on MagGamer.
