Ghost Recon Wildlands takes customization to a new level

As more and more videos on Wild Lands releases, we get more and more looks at all the customization available.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier introduced the Gunsmith, which if you have ever played Army of Two: the 40th day or MGSV your probably familiar for how this type of customization works, though Army of Two was probably more extreme about it.

For those that aren’t familiar with how gunsmith works, here’s a run down.

Gunsmith allows you to interchange pretty much every essential part of a gun, from the stock, to its barrel, or trigger, so as you roam the wild lands and unlock new weapons, you will also be adding more parts to your compatible weapons, making you have the type of gun you want.

This isn’t the only customization Ubisoft expanded though. it looks like they decided to take the customization system that The Division had and expand upon it even further.

People are calling it “Character Smith” because that’s what it feels like, the sheer amount of options at your disposal

You can, Wear a hat, a mask, some googles and a headset, all at once, and not have to worry about certain pieces un-equipping themselves.

Essentially, every possible option does not interfere with a different one, meaning you have full control for how you want your character to look with everything available.

There is a downside though, the main reason they can do this level of customization is because of a lack of differing faces and body types, as that requires alot more work to make everything still be compatible.

So yea unfortunately you wont be able to make the characters faces mold to your hearts desire, or have differing height or weight compared to your partners, but i think it more than makes up for that with what is there, i guess it would all be on how you would want to look at it.

You could be a bunch of super serious operatives, ready to get the job done, or run around with ridiculous colors and cowboy hats, its up to you.

WILD LANDS BETA RELEASES FEB 3RD! So be sure to give it a try if you have an invite and see for yourself.
