Ready At Dawn’s next game, Deformers, has been delayed just a week prior to its planned release date of February 14, 2017. The Order:1886’s developer has been testing out an updated network infrastructure and it seems the delay is very much based on the feedback received from the closed alpha and technical tests.
In a recent development update, they had this to say:
“The feedback and data we’ve gathered over the past few weeks we’ve been playing together has been incredibly valuable and insightful; it’s also helped us to make the tough call on slightly delaying the February 14th launch of Deformers so we can spend more time addressing your feedback and ensuring that we deliver the best gameplay experience possible. This extra time will also provide even more opportunities to gather additional feedback and invite others to try out Deformers.”
You can read the full development update here.
Deformers is a zany, wacky, character-filled arena brawler and is the second game to be published under GameStop’s, GameTrust program. (The first was Insomniac’s, Song of the Deep).
Although a new release date has not been announced, it should be heading into open Beta on Steam soon. Expect to hear a release date very shortly.
