Rogue Trooper Is Making A Return

Rogue Trooper was a third person shooter developed by Rebellion Developments and published by Eidos Interactive. The title was first released on April 21st, 2006 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows. Reef Entertainment would later publish the Nintendo Wii version in 2009 named Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre. The title took many of its story from the original comic, which was based on characters from the pages of 2000 AD. Players of the game were given full control of Rogue who was one of the many G.Is (Genetic Infantry) who were attacked by Norts do to a Southers’ traitor. If not already obvious, Rogue was the only G.I to survive the Norts’ attack and is looking to seek revenge on the traitor of the Southers. The game does feature customization but mainly on the primary rifle Rogue highly uses, alongside his pistol. The game did feature online multiplayer as well. Rebellion has announced they are doing a remaster on the title called Rogue Trooper Redux. Not much was revealed detailing how far they were going to take the remaster or if anything extra would come with the game. No release date was given either, but the trailer did say coming soon. You can view the trailer down below and expect to see the title launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and on Nintendo Switch.
