A Leak Turns Into Reality

What started out as an Amazon leak turns out to be a reality. Darksiders III has been announced for a 2018 release and THQ Nordic has released a trailer. It is being developed by Gunfire Games which developed the Darksiders II Definitive Edition. Just like the previous games, you will take on the role of one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. In the first Darksiders you play as “War” and the second one you play as “Death.” In Darksiders III you take the role of “Fury”— the whip-wielding Black Horsewoman whose job is to hunt down the seven deadly sins. There is also some gameplay footage from IGN, which you can watch in the video below. After watching the gameplay video I thought the combat seemed stiff but decide for yourself. Ultimately, we will have to see what E3 has in store for the final version.
