God of War Ragnarok: Hunting for Solace Rewards

Now that you’re done Unlocking the Mask, it’s time to go Hunting for Solace. Follow Atreus into the familiar Midgard scenery, beyond your home. Slip between the gap in the wall, next to wear the sled is parked. Continue to follow the familiar path, until Atreus points out some tracks. Continue to follow Atreus until you get to a stag. Watch the cutscene. You’ll temporarily take control of Atreus here, but when you try to fire an arrow, Kratos will stop you.

Follow Atreus back the way you’ve just come, through the crack in the wall, to the sled. Prepare the sled and then open up the gates. You can now climb aboard and begin your search for Sindri.

You need to travel to Tyr’s Temple, a familiar location from the first game. From Kratos’ house, you’ll be travelling east, to the Lake of Nine. Head to the far end of the big dome-like structure, and take the lift. Then head across the bridge to Tyr’s Temple. Just before you go inside, there’s a yellow chest just off to the right with Hacksilver inside, so be sure to collect that. Open the doors and watch the cutscene.

After the cutscene, retrace the steps you just took back to down to the Lake of Nine. If you take the stairs on the right, just outside of where you met Sindri, there’s a path to an Yggdrasil Rift, so complete that if you want to while you’re in the area. There’s another yellow chest, with Hacksilver inside, just off to the right before the lift back down to the sled. Then travel to King’s Grave, which is a little further east, to the Mystic Gateway. Alternatively, you can stick around and collect some Midgard collectibles if you want to before moving on. Otherwise, head to Sindri’s House, which will technically complete Hunting for Solace. Head inside the house and watch the cutscene. Once you retake control, plot a course for the Burning Cliffs in Muspelheim. This will begin The Summoning.
